A Wide Range of Massage Styles
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is effective for reducing symptoms of stress, anxiety, fatigue, muscular tension, mental stress and can improve the body's circulatory system. The techniques involve long strokes, tapping, shaking motions, friction tapping and kneading where the pressure is applied between the bones and muscles.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue work that helps reduce inflammation that causes restriction and pain; perfect for those who have overuse issues like low back and neck stiffness, CTS, tension headaches and more. Similar to Swedish Massage, however this technique uses deeper pressure into tissue layers to resolve fibrous tissues.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release works for many conditions, but is ideal for headaches, muscle spasms, chronic body pain and recurring injuries. It works by focusing to relax deep tissue known as fascia; easing pain and providing lasting relief. Burlington Sports And Spine Clinic myofascial release therapy involves thorough assessment to determine dysfunction and pain areas.
Trigger Point Therapy can treat various types of pain on what is commonly known as "muscle knots". This technique is ideal for back, neck, shoulders, feet, arm and hips, and tendonitis, as well as temporary pain relief for arthritis, Your therapist applies pressure on the trigger point; relieving tension and ache.
Trigger Point Release
Joint Mobilization
Joint mobilization is a manual therapy, a type of passive movement of a skeletal joint that helps nourish and improve range. Joint mobilization is helpful in cases where pain and joint tightness limit motion, as in the case of adhesive capsulitis or frozen shoulder. Joints of the elbow, wrist and hand, where tightness is present, also benefit from this technique.
Isolytic release is a technique designed to break down adhesions between muscle fibers and between connective tissue. Your massage therapist uses firm pressure with his/her hand to isolate the targeted tissue while moving the affected limb through a lengthening motion. This is a very useful technique for releasing chronic tightness in muscles and tendons.

"Didn't know where to go or what to do when I had a pinched nerve in my neck. I started off with a massage here as it was the soonest appointment I could get in the area at the time. It was then recommended to see Dr. Dave for chiro and soon after I started physio with Emma. within a month of my first visit I was really noticing improvements and two months later I am feeling like myself again. Getting that first initial massage here by chance was the best thing that could have happened. " ~ Terry Tereshyn Google Review
"Troy is a wonderful RMT. He pays attention to what you would like for a treatment and then goes about it in a calm and caring way. He figures out the pressure that works for you and always let’s you know what he is doing. I felt fantastic after my most recent massage, like 10 lb. blocks had been released from my shoulders!! I have no delayed onset muscle soreness after either. Amazing. He is my go to RMT now! " ~ Susan Malley Google Review
"Nothing but great experiences at this clinic. Dedicated staff helping me make a quick recovery from a concussion. Awesome chiropractic treatment, physiotherapy and massage therapy. Thanks for everything! " ~ Katherine Wilson Google Review
